SCHOLARSHIPS

Welcome Fillmore High Seniors, Class of 2026, and thank you for your interest in applying for a Fillmore High Alumni Scholarship.
Before selecting the blue online application button below, please read everything below, and have the following information and documents ready before beginning your online application process:
1. University, College, or trade school application status. Are you planning to apply, or have you applied, or have been accepted to a particular university, college, or trade school?
2. What degree/certification do you intend to earn and what career do you plan to pursue with this attainment?
3. Extra-Curricular Activities. List all school sponsored extracurricular activities and clubs. (ex: ASB, sports, cheerleading, mock trial, migrant speech and debate, FFA, Robotics, Interact, Mentoring, MECHA etc.) and/or school-sponsored community service programs. Include the year(s) in which you participated. Include your role and/or any office held.
4. Academic Honors and Extra-Curricular Awards. Please describe/list any awards, honors and/or recognitions you received in high school for the past four (4) years.
5. Community Involvement and Volunteer Service. List community service and community involvement activities. These might include church activities, babysitting, community service and volunteer hours not sponsored through your school, job or work experience. Include year(s) in which you participated in the activity.
6. Personal Statement/Essay. Compose a personal statement about your personal history, family background, perspectives, goals, and interests. Why did you choose this area of study (i.e.: music, medicine, etc.) and what are your career goals? In what ways will this scholarship enable you to pursue your goals? What do you see yourself doing in 5-10 years from now. (4,000 characters, or approximately 800 words, or less limit).
7. Letter of Recommendation from a Fillmore High School teacher, counselor, or any Fillmore High staff in WORD or PDF format. (be sure to request your letter by Friday February 27, 2026).
Fillmore High School Transcripts/weighted GPA in WORD or PDF format.
This scholarship is a first year award only/non-renewable for high school seniors only.

GRANTS
* Fillmore High Alumni Continuation Grant Application: For Any Fillmore High School Graduate who is continuing their education at a College, Trade School, or University. Deadline for application to Alumni office is June 30th, 3:30pm. Administered by the Fillmore High Alumni Association. (Applicants must be entering their second year of post secondary education.)
* Fillmore High Alumni Re-Entry Grant Application: The purpose of the Re-Entry Grant is to provide educational funds for Fillmore High Graduates who are changing directions in their employment by returning to school to obtain the necessary skills to change from one means of employment to another. Deadline for application to Alumni office is June 30th, 3:30pm. Administered by the Fillmore High Alumni Association.
